How to Celebrate Valloween

Love the idea of Valloween? Here are a few fun ways to celebrate:

1. Serve Spooky Valloween Treats (Inspired by your favorite Halloween foods!)

Whip up treats that combine the sweetness of Valentine’s Day with Halloween’s creepy-crawly feels:

2. Plan a Valloween Themed Movie Night

What better way to celebrate Valloween than with a cozy movie night featuring romantic but spooky flicks?

Here are some favorites (I have no idea how I ended up with 4 Tim Burton movies!):

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Crimson Peak
  • Corpse Bride
  • Edward Scissorhands
  • Sleepy Hollow (there’s a touch of romance, plus Johnny Depp, so…)
  • Interview with a Vampire (hello, Lestat & Louis)

3. Exchange Valloween Gifts

Forget the usual flowers and chocolates; give gifts with a spooky twist.

Ideas include:

  • A handwritten love letter written on aged parchment. Bonus points if the letter includes a romantic invitation to dinner.
  • A copy of a romantic yet eerie novel like Wuthering Heights
  • Sweet and spooky Halloween Valentine’s cards
